Anushka Sharma is one of the most promising actors in the Hindi film industry. From nailing a girl next door character in Band Baaja Baraat to taking everyone’s breath away as a wrestler in Sultan, she has left no stone unturned in making her audience go WOW with her craft.
The actress was last seen in Zero, which failed to perform at the box office. Now, Anushka is all set to make a smashing comeback with Chakda Xpress, a sports drama, inspired by the life of ace cricketer Jhulan Goswami.

Anushka is prepping in full swing for the role. From heavy sports practice to working on her physic, she is putting her blood and sweat into the movie, where she plays Jhulan.

Well, the actress turned into a cover girl for Harper’s Bazaar and spoke about working post-delivery, her views on hustle culture, and more.

Anushka on hustle culture

The magazine quoted the actress, “I’m not for that hustle culture. I’m for living with a more holistic approach—you enjoy your work, you enjoy your life. That’s what you’re supposed to do…”

Further talking to the digital editor of the magazine, Anushka shed some light on taking up work after having her baby Vamika.

Take a look at her post:

The actress was quoted as ” I was a part of the inception of Chakda ’Xpress. I was supposed to have worked on it earlier but the film got postponed because of the pandemic and then I got pregnant. When I finally began working on it, I was really nervous because I had just had a baby so I wasn’t as strong as before. And I hadn’t trained for 18 months, so I wasn’t in the best physical condition—earlier, I would have really pushed myself to do different exercises in the gym.”

” But even though I wasn’t sure whether to take the project on or not, an inner voice kept telling me to do it. And that’s the kind of work I want to be a part of. I’ll always be open to doing projects that are interesting and content-forward,” she further added.
